Any of the found items can be marked as a favorite. Favorite items will show up on the map for easy reference.

The data is pulled from NYC’s Geoclient API (https://api-portal.nyc.gov/api-details#api=geoclient), and from NYC Open Data (https://opendata.cityofnewyork.us/).

Please note that more comprehensive and current data can be found on a given City agency’s website.

This app is provided as a public service. There is no tracking or data collection. The code is written for iOS in Swift, using Apple’s frameworks, with no third-party libraries.

Version History This is a behind-the-scenes update that uses v2 of NYC's GeoClient API. 1.3.9 07/09/2025 The colorful 311 filters are now fully configurable! Tweak the defaults, or create your own, filtering on over 1,900 service request types.

This update puts a lot of power in your hands. Enjoy! 1.3.8 05/16/2025 You can now subscribe to view a building's ACRIS documents! These are uploaded monthly to open data by the Department of Finance, and include Deeds and Other Conveyances, Mortgages & Instruments, and Other Documents. 1.3.7 05/06/2025 I rebuilt the property screen, giving it some overdue attention. The new screen is a little more organized, and much prettier.

Along the way, I found and fixed a bug on iPad when trying to export (share) a property's data. 1.3.6 04/30/2025 For this release, I added a look-around view for when you select a building. I also set the map to a more subdued style, which helps the building shapes stand out. 1.3.5 04/28/2025 A new menu item lets you see Noise and Heat/Hot Water scores for each building. This could be useful if you're considering moving, and want to see at a glance how many complaints have been submitted. It also makes the app a lot more colorful! The scores are based on the past 12 months of 311 service requests. 1.3.4 04/23/2025 If you tap the title in the app, you'll see a new menu! From here you can see app details, leave a tip, rate/review, or send me an email. 1.3.3 04/10/2025 The building outlines (aka footprints) weren't loading, and an error message was popping. To fix this, I updated the resource name of the data (for the Building Footprints shapefile at NYC Open Data). 1.3.2 04/07/2025 This release has a better-looking search bar in dark mode. It also boasts clickable map polygons when run on macOS. 1.3.1 02/19/2024 This update yields a more attractive dark mode, and a location button for the map. Also, if you tap the app name in the header, you'll see an About screen. 1.3 02/14/2024 In this release, a periodic issue with loading the building footprints has been repaired.

The jobs list had some issues with error messages and incorrect dates, which have also been fixed.

There was also an issue with loading the HPD list, which is now working properly.

Enjoy! 1.2 02/12/2024 Added support for the new NYC GeoClient API 1.1 08/21/2021 1.0 08/07/2019
